Responsibilities
- Participating in cannabis harvest process including offload, harvesting, sanitizing and reloading flower rooms, appropriate disposition of materials and cannabis waste.
- Harvesting and drying wet cannabis plants
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Train new hires/transfer on standard SOP's and work instructions in area.
- Document all activity in Illinois traceability program
- Work with BioTrack THC and other inventory management software systems.
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties
- Depending on facility conditions will need to participate In all aspects of Cultivation.
- Work with a continuous improvement mindset
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Team Lead
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Certifications preferred
- Ability to work independently throughout a workday with given directives
- Basic math and computer skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions and to work at varying heights
- This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut/manipulate small objects
Additional Requirements
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product.
- Work involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil).
