Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Social Impact and Community Engagement priorities, processes and partners (external and internal).
- Build and maintain relationships with organizations aligned with Social Impact program goals.
- Identify and develop future programs and/or initiatives that would align with our Social Impact and Community Engagement strategy and goals to support our business and communities.
- Lead retail operations collaboration and relationship for GTI's Social Impact programs including Round Up, First Day Profits, Community Engagement and create a framework to support the maintenance of these initiatives.
- Work with Government Affairs team to ensure compliance of all Social Impact-owned license commitments in partnership with Assets Protection, Accounting, Retail, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.
- Build and lead community engagement programs (internal & external) and generate functional support.
- Support Social Impact Report delivery, working with Coordinator of Social Impact & Communications.
- Work collaboratively with internal allies (Comms, Retail, Marketing, Compliance, Government Affairs) and external partners to facilitate communication and multi-channel promotion of all social impact and community engagement programs.
- Work with our Inclusion & Belonging steering committee to create and amplify our I&B strategy through Social Impact and Community Engagement programs.
- Collaborate closely with Coordinator, Social Impact and Communications, to ensure execution of priorities, deliverables, and management of relationships.
- Support Communications team priorities and overall visibility.
Qualifications
- 5+ years managing Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, running programs and managing relationships
- 3+ years project management in management consulting, operations, high growth startup environment
- Communications/PR experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree, specialized training/education in CSR and Inclusion & Belonging preferred
- Experience implementing small and large-scale CSR and/or Community Engagement activities
- Experience in establishing and building partnerships with non-profit partners and internal stakeholders
- Strong communication abilities including presentation, verbal, and written skills
- Fluidity in social media
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Self- starter with a proven track record of results with a bias for action

- Possesses a high level of critical thinking
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information

- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must be approved b y state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
